Mediator

Geraldine
Crudge

I specialise in workplace and
community disputes

Mediation allows participants to determine their own outcomes, with the support of a mediator to help them explore their respective interests and hear from each other.

My role as a mediator is to help parties work together to solve the problem between them.

As a mediator, I am there to help parties have a conversation they might not otherwise be able to have without an independent third party, and allow them to explore the issues between them with a view to reaching an agreement.

Professional Experience

I have worked as a lawyer for 20 years, both in Auckland and London, in both the private and public sector.

Not-for-profit Sector

I have volunteered with a number of charities, and have a strong familiarity with the not-for-profit sector and organisations with strong volunteer bases.

Accreditation

I am an accredited mediator with the Resolution Institute.

The Resolution Institute is the largest dispute resolution membership organisation across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Law (with honours) and Commerce from the University of Auckland, and Masters of Development Management from the London School of Economics.

I was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court in 2002.

In person or online

I am based in Auckland, New Zealand, and can mediate in person throughout the country, or via online meeting tools. Contact me for any English-speaking mediation services.
